How Ardal Water Solutions collects, uses and looks after personal information, including what happens when you use this website.
Last updated 15 October 2026
Who we are
This policy covers Ardal Water Solutions Pty Ltd (ABN 74 162 248 320), 3 Bothroyd Court, Mildura VIC 3500, and Ardal Water Solutions Ltd in Christchurch, New Zealand. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 and, for our New Zealand work, the Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
- When you send an enquiry: your name, phone number and email, the property location, size, crop and stage, the service you need and your message.
- When you ask for the Irrigation Due Diligence Checklist: your name, your email and, if you tell us, what you are looking at.
- With either form: the page you sent it from and how you found us, for example a search engine, an ad or a link on another website. Your browser keeps this for up to 90 days and only sends it to us if you send a form.
- When you call, email or work with us: the details you give us, and the information about your property and project that we need to do the work.
- When you apply for a job: your CV and anything else you send with it.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, scope the work and give you a price.
- To email you the checklist, then three short follow up emails over three weeks. Every follow up has an unsubscribe link, and they stop as soon as you use it.
- To do the work you engage us for, and to send accounts.
- To see which of our ads, listings and pages bring enquiries, so we spend our marketing in the right places.
We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't add you to a mailing list without asking. Everything you tell us about a property is kept confidential. We share personal information only with the service providers who help us run our website, email and accounts, so they can do that job, or where the law requires it.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see how people use the site: which pages they view, and when someone taps our phone number, emails us or sends a form. Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to do this. It does not give us your name or contact details. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's opt out browser add-on.
We also use the Meta pixel, through Google Tag Manager, to see which of our Facebook and Instagram ads bring visits and enquiries, and to show our ads to people who have visited the site. Meta sets cookies in your browser to do this and may link your visit to your Facebook or Instagram account. We don't send Meta your name or contact details. You can turn this off in your Facebook or Instagram ad preferences, or block cookies in your browser.
The site runs through Cloudflare for speed and security. Like any website, Cloudflare sees your device's internet (IP) address when your browser asks it for a page. Our forms use your IP address for 10 minutes to limit spam, and don't store it with your message.
Where it is kept
Form messages are stored on our website server in Sydney and emailed to our team. Our email is hosted by Microsoft 365, and website backups are kept by Cloudflare in the Oceania region for 30 days. Google, Meta, Microsoft and Cloudflare may store or process information in other countries, including the United States.
We keep enquiries and checklist sign ups for as long as we need them to respond, do the work and keep proper business records, then delete them.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from the checklist emails with the link in any of them.
- Ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or to correct it.
- Ask us to delete it, where we don't need to keep it.
Email enquiries@ardalwater.com.au, call 03 4444 2804 or write to 3 Bothroyd Court, Mildura VIC 3500. We will reply within 30 days.
Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or, in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
